Looking Long Range - 27 May 2016

While preparing for a Norwac talk on how the New Horizon’s Space Probe refreshed our view of Pluto, a few cool transit notes - from the Sun’s point of view - came to light. If you’re attending Norwac, now in progress, come over and say hi. Also, read on. No Pluto talk lecture spoilers are in this post.

Pluto passes over his south node (20 Capricorn 33) on October 24, 2018 just after Sun enters Scorpio.

Jupiter crosses the point of Pluto’s perihelion (15 Scorpio 06) Mar 27 2018.

Pluto to his own descending node serves to comb the Plutonian landscape for artifacts of actual events and the consciousness accumulated during those events. Here we have an interval in which much scrutiny will be devoted to plutocratic and Plutonian traditions, history and protocols. From this scrutiny the objective is to give actuality to the past. Should Plutonian things remain solid and contributing, they get to stay. Should what matters to Pluto fail to support future progress, they should be abandoned for more evolutionary and transformative means. Keep what works, abandon what does not.

Pluto matters include political power, secrecy and privacy, mining of anything that is forged within or growing beneath the surface of the earth or under the sea, money and investment systems, insurance, the processing of waste, nuclear energy and weaponry, the vastest reaches of human consciousness, bonding/relating at the deepest possible levels of connection and death. In essence, what makes the world go round and what makes the people on the planet get around - the stuff upon which human existence on earth is predicated.

The passage of Pluto to his south node receives a celestial preview seven months preceding as Jupiter crosses Pluto’s perihelion in March. A planet’s perihelion is where every matter related to the planet is prioritized and given an assignment of urgency. During this transit, all matters of Pluto fall into the realm of extreme relevance and with Jupiter’s stimulation, these considerations receive massive celestial amplification.

During 2018, nuclear proliferation looms as an issue. As does covert operations between allies and enemies. What happens to the privacy of your phone, computer or electronic device? Will the exploitation of the earth become a mainstream matter? Terrorism tops the charts - which can also mean that vast gains are made against insurgent forces. A check of investment methods and strategies rises up for review. Given Jupiter’s extremism, could there be a bubble in some Plutonian sector?

Jupiter is involved and he portends progress and advancement, and defines the concept of the law and legislation. All according to Jupiter’s point of view, of course.

Underscoring all of the global concerns and mundane matters noted above, is human consciousness. No matter where you stand politically, what you believe is best for the earth or your personal lifestyle, now is the time to put on those long-range consciousness glasses. Pay attention to political and economic matters in the world. Engage with causes that promote the preservation of spaceship Earth. In 2018, two windows of change loom. During either of these intervals, significant repair of what is broke can occur; notable progress in failing systems can be made; international relations can improve; your personal security could become more secure; the consciousness of the planet can shift for the better.

Bear in mind, these transits in 2018 are part of a longer range transit package. In 2020, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto virtually align in Capricorn. During the cycle of these conjunctions all these planets come to square Eris. Given Eris savors her reputation as the mayhem maker and great disruptive force, and considering that Pluto and Saturn are Saturn and Pluto, great speculative doom could be applied to these transits.

However, before playing the doom and gloom card, remember two very important celestial constructs:

Jupiter trumps all. Realizing that trump leaves the taste it does in the reactive instincts those watching the U.S. political scene currently, the word remains applicable (and Trump is not Donald’s birth name anyway). Jupiter trumps all. He is the lord of the planets and what he says goes and all the other planets yield to his fancy.

Consider the fact that Jupiter enlisted the aid of Eris to right a political election gone wrong in the land of Mycenae. Together, they conspired to reverse the order of the solar system and the entirety of the Universe for one day, such that perspective could shift and consciousness corrected the course of the events of mortals.

The longer range focus should be on Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto and Eris alignments in 2020 and beyond. Attention should be placed on the heliocentric transits to the orbital elements of Pluto in 2018. More currently, conscious intent would do well to be assigned to the ongoing Uranus-Eris conjunctions in Aries; and Eris and Uranus enjoying the persisting opposition from Haumea. Always look long range. Yes, in the short term the prevailing transits at hand require conscious attention. Long range transits require dedicated consciousness to produce the promise of progress.

Maybe this post should be truncated into tweet-equse descriptors. After all, talking points, bullet points, tweets and bumper stickers have their place. BTW, if you tweet and re-tweet three times, you’ve engaged the Mercury rule that if it gets said three times it’s likely to stick.

Anyway, here’s the short version of the long range transits:

Jupiter to Pluto’s perihelion: “Infuse the matter with consciousness.”

Pluto to his own south node: “Promote transformation; shun stagnation.”

The 2020 collection of Capricorn-Aries alignment: “Earth and Humanity - Now’s the time.” (subtext: Don’t make me summon the aliens to square away your sorry carcass)

And this year:

Uranus conjunct Eris: “Evolution over Revolution”

(subtext: disruptive rebels are revolting)

Uranus and Eris opposing Haumea: “Consciousness breeds in creative vision.”

(subtext: birth your inner artist)
